Dunkirk/Pennco Residential Steam Boiler Installation [Cost: $99]
September 22: 9AM – 12PM, 1PM – 4PM (3hr)
Build a stronger foundation for installing residential cast-iron steam boilers with a practical class focused on the piping, wiring, controls, commissioning, and maintenance details that shape system performance. Improve your knowledge of steam boiler systems including proper Hartford Loop installation, controls used, and maintenance best practices.
Dunkirk Royal Condensing Boiler Installation/Service [Cost: $99]
September 23: 9AM – 12PM, 1PM – 4PM (3hr)
Move beyond classroom-only boiler training with a practical course that lets technicians work directly with Dunkirk Royal condensing boiler and combi equipment before they face the same installation or service task in a customer’s home. Participants will review proper piping, venting, and gas requirements; operate the boiler control system; tear down the equipment to identify major internal components; and practice a repeatable troubleshooting process. Dunkirk will provide the demo units, training manuals, and tools needed during class.
Dunkirk Commercial Boiler Installation [Cost: $99]
September 24: 8AM – 4PM (8hr)
Build the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to install and assemble Dunkirk D250 commercial sectional cast-iron water and steam boilers efficiently, accurately, and profitably. The afternoon session—available only at JTEC—is a hands-on D250 assembly lab. Participants will review how the boiler is shipped, then work through assembly of the firing bases, heat-exchanger sections, vent hoods, sheet-metal jacket, and controls using a demo unit and appropriate tools.
